TIM EASTON
Born near the Canadian border in New York State, Tim Easton spent his early years living and making music in Tokyo, Paris, London, Madrid, Prague and Dublin. During this period he developed his signature songwriter style. It focuses on human-based stories and personal travelogues, often peppered with bold confessions and a “tell it like it is” reality. Rolling Stone magazine hailed him as “a novelist with a great sense of humanity”.
Back in the USA he lived successively in New York City, Los Angeles and Nashville, Tennessee, where he still lives. Tim has worked with Wilco throughout his musical career and has performed as a support act with Lucinda Williams and John Hiatt. As a solo artist, Tim has released fourteen albums, with his album “American Fork” (2016) reaching #11 on the US Radio Chart. His album “Exposition” (2019) brings the listener to the sound of a singer with his acoustic guitar. His seasoned voice is combined with his virtuoso fingerpicking guitar technique in ten inspiring compositions on this album. His newest album “Find Your Way” was released in May 2024. His music style can best be described as: roots, americana, blues and bluegrass.
